Hello! How are you? I’m Judith Bote.
Last week I finished the book. In my experience the novel is entertaining and mysterious. You don’t get bored. At the end of chapter 18 I wanted to know if Maxim would confess all the truth to Mrs. Danvers or Mr Favell, so I continue reading until I finished it.
When I was reading I thought that Mrs Danvers would be the murderer because her appearance and look were suspicious. I got surprised when I knew that Maxim had killed his woman, didn’t you?
I had listened all the CDs. In my opinion it’s easier to understand and at the same time you listen the pronunciation.
Last year’s book was more difficult for me. I think that I have understood all the story of Rebecca or I hope so.
Watch the film it’s a great help. We haven’t watched the end but I suppose that it’s the same as the book. If someone hasn’t read it let me tell you that Manderley catch fire. Who is responsible?

The Rebecca's book is fantastic. It is a book with suspense, because you have to discover a lot of things.
When I was reading Rebecca's book I found intrigling not knowing who killed Rebecca. I got very surpried that she wasn't killed by anybody. She died by accident and what's more she was ill.
There are a lot of extremly dangerous situation that are cleared up on the following pages. I think, that it's a very interesting book and especialy, because there is an action. I think, that Rebecca's live is extraordinary because she is a different woman and very beautiful.
It is incredible the way she lies everybody in her private live.
She doesn't say that she was sick. Instead of this she says that she was pregnant.
Do you think the same?
Well, I've already finished to read Rebecca. I have to admit that I have enjoyed reading it. It has not been difficult to understant, in spite of many difficult words, though. It also has been short, I mean that I only have taken about 2hours at the most.
Moreover, having seen the film before, it has been easier to understand the book.
There were so many words which I didn't understand as well, but I could do without them.
About the characters of the film, I must say that all of them were a bit strange. I get surprised with some of them: the way Maxim loses his temper in some scenes, Mrs Danvers, even Mrs de Winter, the way she is sometimes: like a schoolgirl.
Well, I think that I have nothing more to say. I hope I pass the exam tomorrow, although I don't know what could be a question in the exam...

I finished Rebecca's book today and I think that is an interesting and entertaining novel.
I have been surprised so much when I have discovered all the truth about Rebecca because she lies everybody all even to me.
With the end of the history I remained surprised because I weren't hoping that Manderley would finish in flames.
Watch Rebecca's film helped me a lot because when I were reading the book I were imagining what was happeningin the movie and it did that the reading was easier.

I really enjoy that book because I think that it has a great argument and it's very understandable.
My favourite chapter is chapter 18. This chapter explains the authentic death of Rebecca and is different of the film. At the movie, Rebecca had an accident but at the book, Maxim shot her with a gun.
I recommend everybody to read this book.

I enjoy reading that book because i like reading in other English because I think that can be useful.
The book is funny, and easy to read it, but I prefer the film, an image is better than thousand words.
It's true that in the book you have tot think about the chapters, and you have to imagine their appereance, so the book it's interesting too, but, in my opinion, the film is better than the book.
I would be surprised if anyone have the idea to modernize rebecca and do another film, with special effects, and with good actors in the plot.
Well, I go to the shower because in a few minutes I have my rebecca exam, and if I want to pass it, I have to read the book one more time.
